Poste proposé : Vie Mining Engineer H/F
Location: Diogo,Senegal
Contract type: VIE (European candidates)
VIE SUMMARY:
- For its Mineral Sand mining in Senegal, ERAMET is looking for a Mining Engineer for 12 months. The company’s objective is to train the incumbent to become one of the key players of the local team in place and will gain knowledge and understanding of the mining process, technics and methods applied to the WCP and dredge.
- VIE OBJECTIVES AND DESCRIPTION
- Actively contribute to the mining process and focus on improving standard operating procedures. Work closely with mine planning to improve mining plans. Work on improving operational maintenance and scheduling of work on the WCP.
- Actively contribute to asset strategy by participating in the development of asset lifecycle plans for metallurgical equipment on the WCP and dredge.
- Support investigations into assets failures and performance, including root cause analysis (RCA).
- Participate in the improvement processes to support and improve availability and recoveries on the WCP.

PROFILE
- Engineering degree in Mining Engineering
- Basic awareness of industrial standards
- Basic project management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
- VIE Located in Senegal
